Croatia is a hotspot for bike tourism\u2014well, all kinds of tourism\u2014today as it makes a strong comeback from the Serbo-Croatian war (the “Homeland War” to Croatians)\u00a0of the 1990\u2019s.\u00a0 <\/span>With its Adriatic coast, long complex history, and outgoing people, there\u2019s something here for every kind of tourist.\u00a0 <\/span>Five other bike-riding couples, Atlanta friends for the most part with a\u00a0Portland (OR) couple for variety, are joining Betsy and I for a bike tour to experience this beautiful and exotic Eastern European land. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
